After the March break, our next general meeting will be Tuesday, April 10 at 7:00pm in Room 117 of the York Science Center at UMHB. We’ll be discussing birding in Southwest India with Rich, a former TLAS member and president.

Our April field trip will be to Messer Ranch on April 21. Note the date! We will be meeting at 08:00 at the Belton Park and Ride, and convoy from there. Anyone wishing to drive to ranch directly should remember that the gate is secured and to leave the narrow paved road open so I can reach the gate. To get there directly, take the Simmons Road/Stillhouse Hollow Park exit at the top of Nolanville Hill on Hwy 190, turn north to reach Nolan Bluff Road, which leads directly to the gate.
